COVID – 19 Update

posted in: News | 0

To do our part to help slow the spread of COVID – 19, we will be closed Tuesday March 24, 2020 and reopen on Tuesday March 31, 2020.  Thank you to all who have called concerned about our well-being.  And to answer some common questions we have received, we have lost almost all of boarding reservations up to April 15, 2020.  However, we still continue to serve with daycare, grooming and taxi services.  We are completely compassionate towards are fellow man and completely understand the changes.  This adjustment has affected all Americans.  Again we are grateful to our Governor and President who are both equally concerned about our economy but especially our health.  So we are going to do our part here at Simply At Home Kennel to slow the spread.  On Monday March 23, 2020 we had two Ultravision® air scrubbers installed.  These units use UV rays to disinfect the air.  At the time of purchase we were unaware that UV rays do indeed kill the COVID – 19  virus.  So we are proud to let you know we have taken extra precautions, without even knowing it!!!

As of Tuesday March 31, 2020 we will reopen after an extensive scrub down of the kennel.  The Dog Taxi will be running, Daycare will be running, and Lord willing we will see a change and our Boarding will again begin to prosper.  Please know that we still offer grooming such as baths, nails, teeth brushing and anal gland expression. As a retired master groomer, I can tell you one of the best ways to help keep immune systems healthy is to keep your pets clean on a regular basis.

My staff and I are happy to continue to support the small businesses in the Sussex County area.  Businesses that are not only providing a service but a friendly smile.

We are looking forward to serving you in the very near future, may God bless you and keep you and may His face shine upon you.
